Welcome to Prog 164 featuring ‘The Mind of Wolfie Smith‘, ‘The V.C.’s‘, ‘M.A.C.H.0‘, ‘Robo-Hunter‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 10 May 1980.
Cover Art Robot: Ron Smith
Dredd makes the cover again this week, dishing out a word of caution to the galaxy!
My pick of the Prog is: Judge Dredd
Script Robot: John Howard
Art Robot: Ron Smith
Lettering Robot: Tom Frame
Still in search of The Judge Child, Dredd‘s journey takes us to another bizarre planet: Lesser Lingo. This planet is rife with biochipping (a practice that is illegal back in Mega-City One). It al gets rather chaotic as people are body swapping and getting to have a few hours as somebody else. As you can imagine, Dredd isn’t best pleased with these antics but it’s outside of his jurisdiction. Things take a turn when the vice president informs Dredd that the President has been kidnapped. Well, sort of. His biochip is missing.
Prog 164 carted off by muties! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 165.
Florix Grabundae!
