That Fat Boy Slims – The Ketogenic Diet – Day 4
Getting up out of bed this morning was a struggle but once I was awake proper I had a ton of energy and sorted the kids’ sandwiches out for school and prepped my food for the day in work. I did have a fat bomb as I was prepping as I didn’t want to face the same fiasco as yesterday with them melting in work!
I know I shouldn’t but I did have a cheeky weigh this morning and I’m down 4lbs…
I still had things I really shouldn’t, but again, I want to eat it rather than waste it and figure out snacks and such that is more in line with the diet. That being said, I did take a tub of cheese cut into cubes and some two Kabanosy to snack on too.
My walk to work was pretty energetic despite the back pain and I felt pretty damn good but my energy dropped late morning/early afternoon. Another “spoiler” with yuck is next…
The headache has been a constant again today, too.
The walk home wasn’t as energetic and my legs did start to ache at the usual point of my journey but not as bad as usual.
I have felt a bit ‘bleh’ today – not sure if it’s my hayfever as I’ve been sneezing a bit since this evening and my head feels all bunged up so I’m hoping it’ll pass.
Dinner was pizza with a turkey-parmesan crust. It was lush. My main love on this diet is the fact that I can eat cheese. I fucking love cheese.
Water consumption has been stable over the last few days at around 3L.
I also avoided espressos today as I struggled to sleep last night so hopefully I will be a bit better in the morning when it’s time to get up.
Macros-wise, today has been better with a reduction in carbs but protein is still high and fat is close but no cigar. But it is improving so there’s something.
Additional supplements such as Apple Cider Vinegar, Coconut Oil etc. we get from Holland & Barett.
