2000ADHD – A Prog a Day – Prog 6

Welcome to Prog 6 which features ‘Invasion!‘, ‘Flesh‘, ‘Dan Dare‘, ‘Harlem Heroes‘, ‘M.A.C.H.1‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 2 April 1977.
I’ve been struggling with figuring out how to format these posts in the sense of listing the stories in the order they’re printed or just keeping my favourite until last. Not sure what makes for better reading or if anyone who reads this just wants to see what my pick is and then buggers off? Let me know in the comments what you prefer.
For now, I think I’ll stick to the order in which they appear for the most part an put my favourite at the end.
‘Invasion!‘ has Bill Savage and the ‘Mad Dogs‘ foil a firing squad.
‘Flesh‘ has Tyrannosaurs fighting and Earl Reagan gets double-crossed.
‘Dan Dare‘ meets the mother Biog who looks very reminiscent of the Queen from Aliens – perhaps a precursor for her given this pre-dates her by about 9 years.
‘M.A.C.H.1‘ has a run in with some zombie Nazis?
‘Judge Dredd‘ teaches us that transplant surgery is illegal and punishable by force.
And my “Pick of the Prog“: ‘Harlem Heroes‘ takes us to Russia for the Heroes’ next game. I mentioned Final Fantasy Xin my first post and I couldn’t help but hear the ‘Otherworld‘ music from the game play in my head when we see the Russian’s aerodrome revealed as below. Things look grim for our Heroes as the Russians have a vast number of substitutes all chomping at the bit to brutalise Giant and co!
