Nerdful Things – WASGIJ? Puzzles – Full Monty Fever

‘Full Monty Fever’ was one of the puzzles in the haul yesterday.  This one was different to the other WASGIJ? puzzles we had tried as the original series has you build the picture of what a particular person on the box image can see.

From this person’s perspective, you have to reverse elements in front of her but then determine what causes the expressions and so on.  So, on this one, you have to put the back of the pigeon and the barrier and then work out the rest as you go.

The other big difference with this puzzle is it’s 500 pieces as opposed to the usual 1000 piece ones we’ve tackled prior but it was still quite tricky.  We had to rearrange the bottom and top edges as the pieces looked like they fit but when adding pieces later it was clearly wrong but we managed to complete it in one sitting.

As of writing this, that’s our third WASGIJ? puzzle completed totalling 2500 pieces so far.
