Friday Night Frights – 01/09/17

Due to me constructing a bunk bed for my eldest daughters and inadvertently taking a chunk out of my finger thanks to a screw, pure force and slippage, I’ve dropped the ball on this week’s instalment.

However, I do want to share one title with you – it’s not so much a horror and it’s a remake/reboot but the 2010 version of I Spit on Your Grave‘ is brilliant.  I’m not entirely sure if I’ve seen the original but the modern day elements brought this movie up to snuff.

It’s always a fine line to walk when it comes to horror movie remakes/reboots…well, any type of remake/reboot to be honest but when it’s done well and not just a case of flogging a cash cow for the sake of flogging it it makes a huge difference.

I hope to have a more substantial entry next week, although I may be hard pushed as I go back to work next week after three weeks annual leave but feel free to drop a comment below with your thoughts and/or suggestions below!

See you next week.
