Friday Night Frights – 01/09/17

Due to me constructing a bunk bed for my eldest daughters and inadvertently taking a chunk out of my finger thanks to a screw, pure force and slippage, I’ve dropped the ball on this week’s instalment.

However, I do want to share one title with you – it’s not so much a horror and it’s a remake/reboot but the 2010 version of ‘I Spit on Your Grave‘ is brilliant.  I’m not entirely sure if I’ve seen the original but the modern day elements brought this movie up to snuff.

It’s always a fine line to walk when it comes to horror movie remakes/reboots…well, any type of remake/reboot to be honest but when it’s done well and not just a case of flogging a cash cow for the sake of flogging it it makes a huge difference.

I hope to have a more substantial entry next week, although I may be hard pushed as I go back to work next week after three weeks annual leave but feel free to drop a comment below with your thoughts and/or suggestions below!
