Welcome to Prog 134 featuring ‘Blackhawk‘, ‘ABC Warriors‘, ‘Disaster 1990‘, ‘The Mind of Wolfie Smith‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 13 October 1979.

Cover Art Robot: Brian Bolland

Judge Dredd and an eagle proudly take the cover this week as 2000AD is voted Top British Comic and Judge Dredd  is Top British Character in the Eagle Awards.

My pick of the Prog is: The Mind of Wolfie Smith

Script Robot: Tom Tully

Art Robot: Vano

Lettering Robot: Aldrich MKII

Wolfie does his best to stop the film production but he is thwarted at every turn as no one believes him and they all think he’s crazy. Which isn’t helped by the fact he gets possessed by the guardians. The level of detail in each panel and the amount of story told in so few pages is amazing and the final panel teases a very sinister looking character…

Prog 134 cast back into the bowels of Hell! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 135.
