Welcome to Prog 187 featuring ‘Dash Decent‘, ‘The Mean Arena‘, ‘Return to Armageddon‘, ‘Meltdown Man‘, ‘Strontium Dog‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 22 November 1980.
Cover Art Robot: Dave Gibbons
Matt Tallon uses some strong-arm tactics on this weeks cover!
My pick of the Prog is: Judge Dredd
Script Robot: T B Grover
Art Robot: Ron Smith
Lettering Robot: Tom Frame
Things get uglier in part two of Otto Sump‘s ugly clinics. After a bomb goes off in the building in which Dredd and Otto  are talking, Dredd races down to the scene and pursues two ne’er do wells as they hoof it. After some crazy driving, they get into a nasty crash and the fellas behind the plot tidy up loose ends at the hospital. Shootiness ensues and it concludes with the Robodoc going mental.
Seeing as 187 is the police code for homicide, I felt it was doubly fitting that Dredd made my pick…
Prog 187 dead on arrival! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 188.
Florix Grabundae!
