Welcome to Prog 220 featuring ‘Strontium Dog‘, ‘The Mean Arena‘, ‘Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘, ‘Meltdown Man‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 11 July 1981.

Cover Art Robot: Carlos Ezquerra

Johnny Alpha declares “NO SURRENDER” as Portrait of a Mutant nears its conclusion on this weeks cover.

My pick of the Prog is: Judge Dredd

Script Robot: TB Grover

Art Robot: Emberton

Lettering Robot: Frame

Another racket hits the pages with the Stookie Glanders. Humans traffic the Stookies, an alien race that has the secretions from their Adifax Gland used to delay the effects of aging. After one little alien breaks free and seeks the help of the Judges. It meets an unfortunate demise after going through the mandatory decontamination process but all is not lost as they find an unusual lead in the style of Prison Break as this little critter has a map on it’s body…

Prog 220 meets an untimely demise in extreme heat! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 221.
