Welcome to Prog 226 featuring ‘Tharg‘s Future-Shocks‘, ‘The Mean Arena‘, ‘Nemesis the Warlock‘, ‘Strontium Dog‘, ‘Meltdown Man‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 22 August 1981.

Cover Art Robot: Steve Dillon

The Mean Arena is back with Tallon charging at us on this weeks cover!

My pick of the Prog is: Nemesis the Warlock

Script Robot: Pat Mills

Art Robot: Kevin O’Neill

Lettering Robot: Steve Potter

Nemesis hangs lifeless as the villagers Nosedrip scurries around in fear and is dismissed as talking nonsense but the villagers who played a part in the capture and “execution” of Nemesis meet their ends in fashion befitting their role in trying to end Nemesis before he takes off in the Blitzspear leaving Nosedrip as the only member of the posse alive… Another fantastic instalment in the series with chilling and amazing artwork.

Prog 226 dropped at the gallows! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 227.

Florix Grabundae!
