I should have jumped on this yesterday when I first saw it but part of me feels incredibly sorry for this little girl. As one Twitter user posted:

To be fair, I cringed when I watched this live. I then rewound it as my wife missed it so she could watch it as well. And, for the record, bells do not make a ‘bim bom’ sound.
Anyway, for folks who are truly devastated by the news that Big Ben will not sound for the next four years, you can take my recently edited sound file to set as your alarm/notification alert/ring tone.
