Welcome to Prog 195 featuring ‘Dash Decent,  ‘The Mean Arena‘, ‘Return to Armageddon‘, ‘Meltdown Man‘, ‘Strontium Dog‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 17 January 1981.

Cover Art Robot: Ian Gibson

The Destroyer from Return to Armageddon wreaks havoc on this weeks cover!

My pick of the Prog is: Judge Dredd

Script Robot: T B Grover

Art Robot: Mike McMahon

Lettering Robot: Tom Frame

Fink has become one of my favourite Dredd characters. Yesterday, I was taken by him and Ratty and their matching hats. Today, I’m taken by the fact that when Fink “moves out” he takes his abode [read: hole] with him. He’s a comical, ghastly rogue! I found it quite touching that we get an origin story of sorts, complete with almost Wrong Turn tones, or that episode of The X-Files (season 4 episode 2 “Home“)

Prog 195 has holed up elsewhere! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 196.

Florix Grabundae!
