Welcome to Prog 49 which features ‘Invasion!‘, ‘Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘, ‘Bonjo From Beyond the Stars‘, ‘Inferno!‘, ‘Dan Dare‘, ‘The Visible Man‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 28 January 1978.

‘Dan Dare‘ and his crew continue to try and fend off the Starslayers.

‘Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘ gives us ‘Fly Guy‘, a short tale with a twist.

‘Bonjo From Beyond the Stars‘  sees the end (?) of Bonjo as MACH Aardvark‘s actions led Bonjo to stomp on his own brain…

‘Judge Dredd‘ continues in the Oxygen Desert but sees Dredd hang up his helmet and start working with the robot street cleaners.

‘Invasion!‘ kills off Savage‘s right-hand man, Silk, as Volgaska‘s plan proceeds.

‘Inferno‘ sees Giant in near-peril at the hands of Pearly.

And my “Pick of the Prog“: ‘The Visible Man‘ has Frank trying to withdraw all of his funds from the bank but in a display that reminds me heavily of Boris Carlo as Clayface in Batman: The Animated Series prior to him falling into the vat of Renuyu.
