My Pick of the Prog in this issue is ‘Ant Wars‘.

Script Robot: Gerry Finley-Day

Art Robot: Azpiri

Lettering Robot: John Aldrich

Ant Wars is one of those typical from bad to worse tales but I never seem to get tired of it. It somehow manages to re-tread the same ground but adding enough new things to it to keep it fresh. I particularly enjoyed the Scotsmen meeting a foul fate after a World Cup defeat and hiking their way back home. That should have been a tale in itself as to how they got there in the first place…

Prog 80 chewed up and spat out! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 81!
