Welcome to Prog 179 featuring ‘Dash Decent‘, ‘The Mean Arena‘, ‘Meltdown Man‘, ‘Strontium Dog‘, ‘Nemesis the Warlock‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 27 September 1980.

Cover Art Robot: Carlos Ezquerra

Johnny Alpha, Wulf and The Gronk smash through on this weeks cover.

My pick of the Prog is: Meltdown Man

Script Robot: A Hebden

Art Robot: Belardinelli

Lettering Robot: J Potter

Nick Stone is still coming to terms with this bizarre new world he finds himself in, where humans exist and use animal people (Yujees) as slaves. The artwork continues to astound me and some of these designs are mind blowing. From helicopters plastered with skull emblems and scorpion tales (reminding me of The Brotherhood of NOD in Command & Conquer) to this massive, ominous palace towering above all else… It’s immense.

Prog 179 takes to the skies! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 180.

Florix Grabundae!
