Nick Stone is accompanied by two Yujees,Liana and Gruff as they escape the city and head in search of Kinita, leader of the Yujee resistance. On their journey, they reach the VATS – where old, deceased or insubordinate Yujees are sent for”recyclement” and they meet T-Bone, a menacing minotaur that once again reminds me of Stephen King but this time, of Rose Madder.
