Welcome to Prog 88 featuring ‘Strontium Dog‘, ‘Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘, ‘Flesh‘, ‘Ro-Busters‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 28 October 1978.

Cover Art Robot: Kevin O’Neill

Ro-Busters has this weeks cover. 2000AD AND STARLORD displayed like the 20th Century Fox logo. The cover is very busy but the main take away is the fact this is Hammer-Stein‘s story time.

My Pick of the Prog in this issue is ‘Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘.

Script Robot: Mike Cruden

Art Robot: Belardinelli

Lettering Robot: J. Aldrich

Tharg gives us a tale of man’s impatience/greed and how it, once again, leads to nothing good as we see the twist of time travel resulting in death… I loved how graphic our fella is when we discover his demise…

Prog 88 aged into oblivion! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 89!

Florix Grabundae!
