Welcome to Prog 112 featuring ‘Dan Dare‘, ‘Robo-Hunter‘, ‘Strontium Dog‘, ‘Ro-Busters‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 12 May 1979.

Cover Art Robot: Kevin O’Neill

Ro-Busters take to the skies on this weeks cover.

My Pick of the Prog in this issue is ‘Judge Dredd‘.

Script Robot: J Howard

Art Robot: R Smith

Lettering Robot: T Frame

Judge Dredd takes after the Exo-Man who has nabbed Mrs Marjory Blackshack after the interfering old busy-body got tried to rehabilitate the creep on the fly. Just goes to show, some people are beyond help. I found it hilarious that Dredd remains steadfast in his adherence to the law and sentences Mrs Marjory Blackshack and Councillor Frank Petty (ironic name?) to six months penal servitude for interfering with the proceedings. As they say on Prog Slog, “That’s good Dredd work!”

Prog 112 sentenced to community service! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 113.
