Welcome to Prog 97 featuring ‘Angel‘, ‘Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘, ‘Flesh‘, ‘Ro-Busters‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 27 January 1979.

Cover Art Robot: Jose Luis Ferrer

I believe this is the first, in what may be called a “lying cover” in that the cover is not from any of the thrills within. Nevertheless, its a pretty cool image and captures the spirit of the comic.

My Pick of the Prog in this issue is ‘Flesh‘.

Script Robot: G Miller

Art Robot: Belardinelli

Lettering Robot: Peter Knight

Flesh is heating up. Carver leads the mutiny and progress through the Atlantis Base while Peters endeavours to stop him. But the mutineers capture him and send him to walk the plank whilst Nothosaurs impatiently wait below for their newly acquired desire for human flesh…

Prog 97 moves on up to the storage in the cloud! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 98 as we continue on the road to Prog 100!
