That Fat Boy Slims – The Ketogenic Diet – Day 23
Well. This morning was a disaster. I woke up at 04:50. My alarm was due to go off at 05:00. I felt pretty awake but thought, “Fuck it. It’s too early”. So I reset my alarm to 06:00. That alarm went off and I set it for 06:30. I slept THROUGH that alarm and woke up at 07:05. I have to leave the house at 07:20ish for work. Shit!
So, I jumped outta bed, woke my wife to help me get ready – she made the kids packed lunches while I quickly weighed – 2lbs up (fuck!) – made my bulletproof coffee, got washed, dressed and finished packing my bag. I left dead on 07:30. I walked to work with a firework up my ass and made it in by 07:50. Phew!
My bulletproof coffee today was practically the same only I tried out the MCT oil instead of the coconut oil. It tasted nicer (I think) although I was in a rush so had no idea how much to put in – I did four dessert spoons in.
One thing that’s been troubling me for the past two or three days is this constant pain in the middle of my chest and between my left shoulder blade and spine. No idea what it is but it is really uncomfortable. Any one else experienced this?
It was another long, hot day in work and time just seemed to slow right down. I was so glad to be logging out and off home at 20:15. As soon as I sat on the sofa the takeaway my wife had ordered arrived – kebabs and burgers. No buns, pitta bread or other shit and the salad was kept separate. I couldn’t even finish my chicken donner but it was divine.
I’m hoping to get our cross-trainer back tomorrow so may do a bit more around the house exercise-wise over my three days off. I plan on hitting up the DDPYoga tomorrow too. And I’m hoping the scales lose that 2lbs I’ve gained (and more off would be nice).
I currently use Muscle Food and their amazing deals on meat hampers. If you want to grab yourself a great deal, head over here.
Additional supplements such as Apple Cider Vinegar, Coconut Oil etc. we get from Holland & Barrett.
