Welcome to Prog 47 which features ‘Invasion!‘, ‘Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘, ‘Bonjo From Beyond the Stars‘, ‘Inferno!‘, ‘Dan Dare‘, ‘The Visible Man‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 14 January 1978.

Dan Dare‘ captures the Dark Lord.

While John Probe takes a break, we see find a new tale in the skin of ‘The Visible Man‘ – a car crash combined with radioactive waste results in Frank Hart showing what’s underneath is all that matters now.

‘Bonjo From Beyond the Stars‘ has MACH Aardvark infiltrating Bonjo‘s body.

Judge Dredd‘ brings Monopoly to life in the Land Race as developers and entrepreneurs try to grab some plots of land on the moon.

Invasion!‘ proceeds on course for Volgaska‘s trap with an undercover Volg agent masquerading as an American seaman.

Inferno‘ has the Heroes aka the Hellcats battle against killer androids and manage to make it out but find themselves back to square one in terms of providing evidence they weren’t involved in the match fixing scandal.

And my “Pick of the Prog“: ‘Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘ depicts an alien invasion in a tale more akin, and possibly a major influence in, The X-Files?

Prog 47 vapourised! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 48!
