2000ADHD – A Prog a Day – Prog 46

Welcome to Prog 46 which features ‘Invasion!‘, ‘Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘, ‘Bonjo From Beyond the Stars‘, ‘Inferno!‘, ‘Dan Dare‘, ‘M.A.C.H.1‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 7 January 1978.

I’ve been struggling with figuring out how to format these posts in the sense of listing the stories in the order they’re printed or just keeping my favourite until last. Not sure what makes for better reading or if anyone who reads this just wants to see what my pick is and then buggers off? Let me know in the comments what you prefer.

For now, I think I’ll stick to the order in which they appear for the most part and put my favourite at the end.

Dan Dare‘ and his crew are drawn in to the home planet of the Starslayers.

Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘ gives us another tale of time travel and dinosaurs.

‘Bonjo From Beyond the Stars‘ introduces us to MACH Aardvark.

M.A.C.H.1‘ sees the death of MACH Zero and Probe royally pissed at yet another betrayal by Sharpe.

Judge Dredd‘ meets Mr Moonie.

Invasion!‘ has Savage and co seemingly getting the better of the Volgs as they unwittingly proceed further towards Volgaska‘s plot.

And my “Pick of the Prog“: ‘Inferno‘ has the Heroes aka the Hellcats continuing through the Crystal Maze as they are attacked by, what they thought, were optical illusions and concludes with some kick-ass androids programmed to destroy our protagonists.

Prog 46 sent back to the locker room, bloodied and weary! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 47!

Florix Grabundae!
