Welcome to Prog 73 featuring ‘M.A.C.H Zero‘, ‘Ant Wars‘, ‘Inferno!‘, ‘Dan Dare‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 15 July 1978.

Cover Art Robot: Kevin O’Neill

I can’t put my finger on it but there’s something hauntingly striking about this cover. I’m not sure if it’s the orange and yellows on black that give it some kind of clout but either way it’s a fantastic looking cover.

My Pick of the Prog in this issue is ‘Judge Dredd‘.

Script Robot: Pat Mills

Art Robot: Mike McMahon

Lettering Robot: Tom Frame

Dredd meets Flesh in this crossover that we never knew we wanted but are so glad to have received. Thanks to the time wimey-ness. Dredd and Spikes enter a town called Repentance but dread has his suspicions that all is not what it seems…

Prog 73 thwarted! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 74!
