Welcome to Prog 118 featuring ‘Dan Dare‘, ‘Rick Random‘, ‘Strontium Dog‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 23 June 1979.

Cover Art Robot: Carlos Ezquerra

The Devil strikes fear in the hearts of readers as he stares ominously into our souls on this weeks cover!

My Pick of the Prog in this issue is ‘Judge Dredd‘. Yes, again.

Script Robot: John Howard

Art Robot: Ron Smith

Lettering Robot: Tom Frame

Another cracking story in this Prog. Automated workers are causing the citizens of Mega-City 1 to strike back as they are desperate to work. Their means may not be within the confines of the law but their intent is pure. But the law is the law. Dredd continues his “good Dredd work” – another moment that would do Prog Slog proud! I don’t think we’ve ever, or will ever see again, a sentencing that makes the perp happy.

Prog 118 sentenced to hard labour! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 119.

Florix Grabundae!
