That Fat Boy Slims – The Ketogenic Diet – Day 14
Pinch, punch, first of the month. Or some shit. I had a cheeky lie-in before work; when I got out of bed I did think i’d regret it as I’d be running later but it was fine. My food was already prepped for work last night – sausages and some grated cheese (not something I would normally have gone for but the focus was fat). I took a bag of almonds to snack on – the bag was 200g and I had just over half.
I weighed and I’d lost the 2lbs I had gained and my energy was vastly increased this morning. My back felt amazing, too. Work was hot and sweaty again and the sitting down soon brought out the back pain again. Great.
I broke my fast at around 12:00 and ate my lunch at around 15:00.
My energy levels dipped early on in the afternoon and I resorted to quadruple espressos on my next two breaks. They helped but my head and behind my eyes (if this is a thing) still felt tired.
Towards the end of the day it seemed to drag but I guess it’s because after today I have two days off work but overall it hasn’t been a bad day.
I didn’t feel particularly hungry when I got home at about 20:30 but I decided to have something; a few slices of ham, a couple teaspoonfuls of Philadelphia, some cucumber spears with dill and some cheese slices. Such a simple yet tasty ‘meal’.
As far as my macros go, today has been the most effective and closest I have gotten to target in the fourteen days I’ve been doing this so I plan on staying in line with this going forward.
I currently use Muscle Food and their amazing deals on meat hampers. If you want to grab yourself a great deal, head over here.
Additional supplements such as Apple Cider Vinegar, Coconut Oil etc. we get from Holland & Barett.
