Welcome to Prog 107 featuring ‘Dan Dare‘, ‘Robo-Hunter‘, ‘Strontium Dog‘, ‘Ro-Busters‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 7 April 1979.

Cover Art Robot: Carlos Ezquerra

Johnny Alpha, Wulf and The Gronk enter the City of Lost Souls with some ominous looking creatures appearing in front of them.

My Pick of the Prog in this issue is ‘Dan Dare‘.

Script Robot: Tom Tully

Art Robot: Dave Gibbons

Lettering Robot: Dave Gibbons

Dan Dare‘s memory comes flooding back just as he’s about to be sucked in by a water purifier as the Mekon looks on in triumph. As all the faces appear, saying his name, I could hear it in my head in a scene similar to how the end of The Usual Suspects plays out as all the pieces fall into place, but is it too late for Dan?

Prog 107 vanquished at the hands of the Mekon! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 108.
