Welcome to Prog 109 featuring ‘Dan Dare‘, ‘Robo-Hunter‘, ‘Tharg’s Future-Shocks‘, ‘Strontium Dog‘, ‘Ro-Busters‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 21 April 1979.

Cover Art Robot: Carlos Ezquerra

Johnny Alpha heads into the flames of Hell on this weeks cover!

My Pick of the Prog in this issue is ‘Ro-Busters‘.

Script Robot: P Mills

Art Robot: M Dorey

Lettering Robot: Pete Knight

The Ro-Busters are still on their mission to find the secret planet for robot-kind to seek sanctuary. They hatch a plan for a way into the city, using Casey to hitch a ride as he looks remarkably human. I found this story quite funny and charming with them all bundling into this kind driver’s car to make their way to the city to discover the meaning behind X27 after Doctor Feeley Good  offers up one last injection to Casey.

Prog 109 hits the road! Join me on the next one to see who/what grabs the pick of Prog 110.

Florix Grabundae!
