Welcome to Prog 61 featuring ‘M.A.C.H.1‘, ‘Colony Earth‘, ‘Walter the Wobot‘, ‘Inferno!‘, ‘Dan Dare‘ and ‘Judge Dredd‘, published on 22 April 1978.

‘Dan Dare‘ moves on from one nightmare to another in Nightmare Planet Part One. A planet that conjures up all manner of visual to try and ward him and his crew off.

‘Colony Earth‘ concludes its run as Commander James Hunter thwarts the alien plot to terraform Earth.

‘Inferno!‘ sees the Hellcats win a game and possibly win over some hearts while The Syndicate work to restart the heart of Artie Gruber!

‘Judge Dredd‘ gears up to head out into the Cursed Earth to deliver vaccines to Mega-City 2.

‘Walter the Wobot’ is about to undergo a brain transplant…

And my “Pick of the Prog“: ‘M.A.C.H.1‘ sees the burial of John Probe and explores the events on the run up to his demise… It also features a fella that looks and “sounds” remarkably like Windsor Davies…
